“I didn’t think it was possible to sync my Android, Nexus 5 with all the old stuff from my iPhone. This did the trick! Thank you guys for the great software. Couldn’t ask for any better!”

To begin using this utility, first download the software to a Mac computer and then complete the installation steps. Then connect one or multiple devices (Android or iOS compatible) to the computer and select the desired feature. When the utility is first opened, the screen will appear as shown below:
Note: You will not be able to complete a move, backup, restore, or erase of devices until one has been connected to the Mac computer.
Features of Mobile Trans
MobileTrans delivers a user-friendly interface where you can quickly select the action to be performed and complete a scan. The following options are provided for one or more devices connected to a Mac computer:
Phone by Phone Transfer – The “Phone by Phone Transfer” option allows you to connect two phones (or compatible devices) to a Mac for data transfer. After the devices have been connected, you will need to configure which is being copied and then select the items to copy. MobileTrans takes care of the rest and within seconds the data will be copied to its destination.
Restore Backup Files – If backup files are stored in iTunes, iCloud, Blackberry, or even MobileTrans, this option provides a simple way to restore a selected file straight to the device.
Just choose where the backup is stored and then select the desired file from the provided list. When finished, click on Start Copy to restore the backup file.
Backup to Computer – Connect the device and then backup all data or selected files to a Mac computer. By default, all file types are selected for the backup process.
However, if only certain file types should be located and backed up to the computer, simply uncheck the items within the “Select content to copy” section of the screen that you do not want to be included as part of the backup. When finished, click on Start Copy.
Erase Phone or Device – An old phone or tablet is scary as it holds personal and dangerous data that you do not want to fall into the wrong hands. MobileTrans provides the option to erase all data from an old phone or tablet to ensure it is completely clean before giving it to someone or getting rid of it.
Transferring Data to an iOS or Android Device
If you want to move data from one phone or device to another, the first step of this process will involve installing the utility and connecting each device to your Mac computer.
Step 1: Click on the Phone by Phone Transfer option on the main screen.
MobileTrans will analyze the connected devices after selecting this option. You will not be able to select data to copy or change options until this process has completed.
After MobileTrans has finished the analysis, follow the steps below to successfully transfer data to another Android or iOS device:
Step 2: Make certain the “Source” and “Destination” are correct. The Source is the phone or tablet that will be used for copying and the Destination is the location where the data will be transferred. If these are incorrect, simply click on Flip to swap the source and destination devices.
As shown below, now the Android device is the source and the iOS device is the destination.
Step 3: By default, MobileTrans selects every file type and available file for copying to the secondary device. If you do not want to copy an item, just uncheck the checkbox next to it within the Select Content to Copy section. In the example below, these items are available for copying: Contacts, Calendar Items, and Photos.
Step 4: For this example, only Contacts will be selected for the transfer. Click on Start Copy to continue with the transfer.
Step 5: After the copy has finished, you will see a window similar to what is shown below. Click on OK to close this window.
Congratulations! You have successfully transferred data between two phones or devices using MobileTrans. The process is simple and takes only minutes! To review:
· Install MobileTrans to a Mac Computer.
· Connect Two Phones or Other Devices.
· Choose the Phone by Phone Transfer.
· Select Items to Transfer.
· Click on Start Copy.
· Then click OK.
